Questions
Will it change how we bill in Tally?
No. You keep billing in Tally. HisaabDesk reads the same data, and HisaabPrompt is an optional faster way to make a voucher draft that you confirm.
Does it work with TallyPrime and Tally.ERP 9?
Yes, both, on the PC where Tally runs.
Can my counter staff use it?
Yes. The Business plan covers 2 PCs – for example the owner and the billing counter.
Can I get my own invoice format?
Yes. Send a photo of the format you want; we give a fixed quote, from ₹3,000.
How do I send a Tally ledger to a customer on WhatsApp?
In Tally you export the ledger as a PDF and attach it in WhatsApp, one customer at a time. With HisaabDesk you click Send next to the customer: the ledger PDF with a UPI QR for the amount due opens in your own WhatsApp, ready to send – or tick all overdue customers and remind them together.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
No. HisaabDesk opens your own WhatsApp (app or WhatsApp Web) with the message ready, so there is no API set-up or per-message charge.
Where does the customer’s mobile number come from?
From the customer’s ledger in Tally. Add the number there once and every reminder uses it.
